Join Matilda as she embarks on her most important Quest yet… What to become when she grows up! An engineer? A scientist? A ballerina? A classical musician? These are the difficult decisions for young Matilda!
The story of Matilda’s Quest is a great introduction to classical music, and through a fun story children will learn basic musical concepts such as “high and low”, “fast and slow”, “the conductor”, “strings family” and “echo”, as well a variety of musical terms such as “piano”, “forte”, “crescendo”, “pizzicato”, and “tremelo”.
This fun and engaging story is enhanced by contemporary and well-loved classics performed by the GCCO. Conducted by Warwick Potter and written and performed by Kellie Wilson, and introducing Georgia Ogge as ‘Matilda’.
