GCCO and Bond University Sign MoU to Strengthen Gold Coast Cultural Engagement

Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra (GCCO) and Bond University have officially joined forces in an exciting new partnership. Designed to weave classical music into the fabric of university life, this collaboration will create vibrant performance opportunities for students and the wider Gold Coast community.

The two organisations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), formalising a collaboration that proudly establishes the Orchestra as Bond University's Ensemble in Residence.

Under the new agreement:

• On-Campus Concerts: The Orchestra will perform a captivating series of concerts on campus each year, alongside recitals at major University events.

• Student Opportunities: The partnership opens doors for talented Bond students to audition for the Orchestra each semester, offering invaluable experience for musicians studying at the University.

This formal collaboration builds on a wonderful, long-standing relationship between the University and the Orchestra. Beyond the concert stage, the agreement aims to deeply strengthen cultural engagement across the campus—giving students, staff, supporters, and the broader Gold Coast community unparalleled access to the creative arts.
