GCCO Gears Up for an Exciting Spring & Classical Gems Season

The Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra is thrilled to announce two beautifully curated concert programs this September and October, in partnership with Bond University as Orchestra in Residence at the Bond University Club.

Upcoming Highlights

Spring Is in the Air

  • Featuring violinist Margaret Blades (from Perth) and pianist Ayesha Gough

  • Held Saturday, 17 September at 2:30 pm, at the Bond University Club

  • Program includes César Franck's Violin Sonata in A Major, Beethoven's beloved Spring Sonata, and Arvo Pärt’s meditative Fratres

  • We’re delighted to welcome Margaret continuing in her role as GCCO’s concertmaster

Classical Gems

  • Conducted by Chen Yang, with two performances:

    • Sunday, 24 September at Murwillumbah Civic Centre

    • Sunday, 8 October at Bond University

  • Features a stunning orchestral program including works by Holst, Sculthorpe, Suk, Piazzolla, and others
