One of Western Australia’s most prominent chamber musicians, violinist Margaret Blades accompanied by an exceptional young Australian pianist, Ayesha Gough presents “Spring Is In The Air” featuring Beethoven’s well known “Spring” violin sonata.
Margaret Blades is a former Concertmaster of the Adelaide and West Australian Symphony Orchestras and has played with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras.
Margaret has since forged a career as a teacher and chamber musician. Solo performances have been with several Australian orchestras, a highlight being a performance of a Vivaldi Double Violin Concerto with Nigel Kennedy. Margaret has performed solo overseas in New Zealand and the USA where
she joined the violist from the Emerson String Quartet, Lawrence Dutton, in a performance of Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante.
