Celtic Celebration – 15 March 2026

A Night to Remember.
We were thrilled to bring Celtic Celebration
to life at The Southport School.

Under the baton of acclaimed conductor Richard Davis, and featuring our very own Margaret Blades as violin soloist, the evening took audiences on a breathtaking journey through the mystical lands of the Celts. A highlight of the performance was the expressive Andante from Scottish Fantasy, delivered with elegance and depth.

Thank you to Sean O’Boyle for his time in curating Celtic Celebration and for his special arrangements.

The program celebrated the rich spirit of Celtic music, blending the stirring sounds of bagpipes and drums with the powerful harmonies of the VOX Bond choir. Audience favourites such as Highland Cathedral and the hauntingly beautiful Danny Boy were brought to life alongside an energetic mix of reels and jigs.

It was an unforgettable celebration of music, heritage, and culture — transporting audiences to rugged highlands and windswept shores, and leaving a lasting sense of wonder and joy.
